Your Role

We are now looking for a new manager for one of our Propulsion Sections - the one with an operational focus on Gripen. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the highest possible performance and reliability for our customers around the world. A major challenge for our area, General Systems, is to continue to grow strategically, ensure our future competence, and be able to work with multiple parallel products in different phases simultaneously.

As a leader in the business, you need to focus on both the operational part and also be able to take a strategic view. Within propulsion, we have divided the business into two sections to enable better focus. This section has the operational focus with the Gripen product and customer benefit as guiding stars. The two sections work closely together at both the leadership and engineering levels.

You will be part of the management team for General Systems where you are expected to take responsibility for your area but also be able to drive cross-area issues.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is an experienced leader, preferably with experience in both management and project leadership. You need to have a technical education at the college or university level.

As a person, you are driven and accustomed to influencing and taking responsibility. You have good communication skills and are results-oriented. You see it as natural to continuously develop and improve the business together with your employees, and you have a good technical overview. You operate in external contexts and find it easy to build good relationships with both customers and suppliers.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
